The Greatest of These is Love | My Clean Cutting Board
Sometimes I sit and stare at the 2 little ones my husband and I get to take care of. They are just so cute. As much as I can I squish, hug, kiss, and carry them, I will. I don’t care what anyone thinks or says. I want to carry them all the time, mostly because I didn’t get to hold them for the first part of their lives. But also because as a foster mom I’m not sure that I’ll get to hold them for the rest of their lives. And at least while I have them I want them to feel love like they’ve never felt before. I want them to grow up certain that they are loved. Only God knows what their future will be. I hope they grow up in a happy, healthy home where the love overflows. But unfortunately in some of these homes that will not be the case. While they’re here I want to tickle them and nibble their little fingers and toes all day. I want to let them see the world as a beautiful place. All it really takes is love.
1 Corinthians 13:13
And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.
