These are so delicious and fun to make, you can involve the kids. You probably have most of these ingredients at home. And what you don’t have is easily found in the supermarket. Get ready to have sticky hands. Try not to lick them.

Protein Oat Balls

1 c Oats (Bob’s Red Mill Gluten Free Oats if you are gluten free)

2/3 c Shredded Coconut (Let’s Do Organic Coconut Flakes)

1/3 c Sliced Almonds

1/3 c Whole Flax Seeds

2/3 No-Sugar-Peanut Butter (I use Smucker Natural)

1 tsp Honey (Raw & Unfiltered)

1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract

1/2 tsp Cinnamon

Optional: Add 1 scoop of your favorite protein powder or powdered vitamins. I added calcium.

Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl and shape into 1-inch balls. Place on parchment paper. If you added the bonus powder items, you may need to add a little more peanut butter for it to stick together. Sprinkle cinnamon on top. Place in fridge for about an hour or until firm.
